Bankruptcy.ai is a technology platform — not a law firm and not your lawyer. Majors Law Group, P.C. is a separate law firm that helps individuals seek debt relief under the United States Bankruptcy Code. Nothing on this site, including Betty and every tool, report, or example, is legal advice, and use of this site creates no attorney-client relationship. Attorney advertising.

Platform / The client journey

One system, from the first phone call to discharge.

Most firms run a bankruptcy case across five disconnected tools and a paper checklist. Bankruptcy.AI runs the whole journey in one place — the client's experience, the firm's workflow, and the record behind both. Every client-facing step is prepared by software and approved by an attorney.

01First contact

A free consultation with a real attorney

The client arrives from the firm's own site — a homepage or a local city page — and books a consultation in a few taps. Intake questions are captured up front so the attorney walks into the call already informed. No qualification gates, no forms that go nowhere.

Consumer site + client portal. The firm's public site, the client portal, and the back office all run on one platform — a client goes from first click to filed case without leaving it.
02Engagement

Retainer signed, portal opened

Once the attorney decides to take the case, the engagement agreement is signed electronically and the client's portal opens immediately. From that moment there is one place the case lives, for both the client and the firm.

Client mobile. The client's next step in their pocket — progress, documents, and their team, on any phone.
03Document collection

Every document requested, named, and tracked

Instead of a PDF checklist, the client sees a specific list: photo ID, six months of pay stubs, bank statements, recent tax returns. They can photograph documents with their phone. Each item is checked, categorized, and marked complete — so nobody has to ask twice.

Guided document intake. The app tells the client exactly what's needed, accepts phone photos, and tracks each item to complete.
04Preparation

Schedules assembled, attorney reviews everything

Collected documents are read and mapped into the petition and schedules. Nothing is filed on autopilot: the attorney reviews every figure, every exemption, and every disclosure before anything moves. The software prepares; the lawyer decides.

Client command center. One case, whole picture — stage progress, what's blocking, the next event, and every document and message in one place.
05Compliance

Credit counseling, signatures, and the filing

The client completes credit counseling, reviews and signs the petition, and the case is filed. The automatic stay takes effect. Collection calls, garnishments, and pending sales stop — and the client sees the confirmation in the same portal they started in.

06Post-filing

341 meeting prep and plan administration

The client is prepared for the meeting of creditors with the actual questions the trustee will ask. In Chapter 13, each plan month is tracked, trustee packages are assembled, and the debtor education certificate is chased before it becomes a problem.

In-app messaging thread between a client and their attorney, paralegal, and scheduler
Secure messaging. Clients message their real legal team in the app. Drafts are prepared automatically; staff approve every send.
07Discharge

The fresh start, and the record to prove it

Discharge is entered and the file closes cleanly, with a complete record of every document, approval, and communication. The client leaves with their fresh start; the firm keeps a defensible file.

Firm reports with revenue, filings, funnel, office breakdown, and staff throughput
Firm reporting. Revenue, filings, funnel, and throughput on one screen — with the story behind any number a question away.
Inside the platform

The same case, from the firm's side.

Behind the client's guided experience is the operating system the firm actually works in — dashboards, workload balancing, reporting, and a local presence in every market served.
